Chevalier
Popcorn Theology takes place the second Sunday of every month. We will meet again on Sunday, November 12, at 5:00 p.m. in the Library at St. Mark’s. We will be watching the movie Chevalier.
Here is a description of the movie: “Inspired by the incredible true story of composer Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges. The illegitimate son of an African slave and a French plantation owner, Bologne (Kelvin Harrison Jr. in a tour de force performance) rises to improbable heights in French society as a celebrated violinist-composer and fencer, complete with an ill-fated love affair and a falling out with Marie Antoinette (Lucy Boynton) and her court.”
All are invited to attend. Pizza, popcorn, wine, and water will be provided. Please bring $5.00 to offset the cost of food and drink.
Coming in December: TBA
We have a legacy of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify God’s love for every human being. We believe that God loves you – no exceptions.
